Werk - Working, Furloughed or Temporarily Unemployed
Still working, though I always get the feeling that could change sharpish depending on how long lockdown goes on for. Personally I'd like COVID-19 to fuck off, get some normality back.

I'm on annual leave for a few weeks, sort of forced. Luckily I have a garden and the grim up north thing hasn't caught up since moving beyond the boundaries of London last March.

You lot?

Furlough but no travel to pay for and holidays on loans and credit cards so essentially earning more for the next few months for playing on line poker and wanking more than normal.

Re: Werk - Working, Furloughed or Temporarily Unemployed
Currently 2 weeks leave.
Full pay, half the amount of normal work when I do go in.
Not much chance at all of losing my job.

Sounds great but I'd swap it in a heartbeat for the old boy to get down the pub and for me to be at the cricket or fishing.

Not that I'm bored, I could live in this lockdown style for decades. No complaints.

Still working and what winds me up is I go shopping at 6pm on a Friday and there are cunts in their tracky bottoms and shorts who have been sitting in their gardens all day sipping Peroni jamming up the queue when they’ve had all fucking day.
Rant over....

Was in the process of moving from the UK to Australia via a few weeks in Thailand. I expect to be in Thailand for at least another 3 to 4 months now.

Been off for 5 weeks on full pay.

They reckon they're planning to 're-mobilise' on the 11th of May.

We'll see.

Working from home and loving it. Work for the NHS so the only chance of any change to my work is if I get redeployed to do something on the front line. I suppose it would be nice to do something worthy of the clapping that I lap up every Thursday.

Re: Werk - Working, Furloughed or Temporarily Unemployed
Been working since it all kicked off but just been asked to take 10% wage cut for 2 months, whilst carrying on working and covering for those furloughed.

Typically, 5 year fixed mortgage ends next month and we were looking to borrow a little bit more to get some work done on the house. Despite the Bank of England base rate having gone down in the period, our mortgage on svr will cost more thanks to our backstabbing bailed-out-by-us banks putting the borrowing rate up and taking it away from savers so they can make money off everyone at their most vulnerable. These parasites need a serious kick in the bollocks. Wankers

Wfh and living the dream, though do miss boozing with the guys at work.

Firm is busier than this time last year, but I guess the acid test will be if all of the clients who we are billing are able to pay them.

Partners will be taking 20% less on their drawings each month so nobody will be furloughed.

Imagine offices will start re-opening in london in june, but with many still staying at home if they can. I'm classed as high risk, so reckon I can get some decent time out of this and am saving £370 a month on travel, so decent.

Sitting in my shorts all day in the garden sipping Peroni enjoying the sun, then once I've had enough of that I stick on my tracky bottoms and head for the supermarket to re-stock for the next day.
